Yemen: The Houthis launched a missile attack on a Western country ship in the Red Sea, killing two crew members and injuring six others.

According to the report of the foreign news agency AFP, American officials said that two crew members were killed in a Houthi missile attack in the Gulf of Aden in the Red Sea.

Defense officials said that the Houthis killed innocent civilians today and reported that two people were killed and six crew members were injured and abandoned the ship.

US officials said the missile attack caused heavy damage to the Barbados ship, the fifth ballistic missile attack by the Houthis in the past two days.

He said that two of these attacks targeted a cargo ship and the third missile was shot down by US personnel.

Britain’s Maritime Trade Operations Agency also reported that a Barbadian ship had been targeted and damaged in Wednesday’s attack, but did not provide details about the attack.

It should be noted that foreign ships passing through the Red Sea are being targeted by Iranian-backed Houthis, missiles and drones have been targeting them, but for the first time reports of casualties have been reported.
