New Delhi: Indian Navy sailor Sahil Verma went missing on February 27 while on duty from a Navy ship.
According to Indian media, the parents of the missing Navy officer have expressed suspicion that their son has been deliberately disappeared while demanding a CBI inquiry into their son’s disappearance.
The parents further said that how is it possible that a Navy officer goes missing while on duty in a ship full of 400 people and the officers do not even know about it.
The parents of the missing navy official alleged that their son was being punished for belonging to Jammu. The said ship came to the base for a day and then went back, raising further suspicion.
It should be noted that even before this, the Modi government does not know about the disappearance or arrest of its military personnel abroad. The arrest of Indian Navy officers in Qatar is a practical proof of this.
This incident has exposed the professionalism and management skills of the Indian Navy. This case brought the Indian Navy into disrepute.
