Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Saeed Ahmed passed away

Former Pakistan cricket team captain Saeed Ahmed passed away at the age of 86. He was born in 1937 in Jalandhar.

Saeed Ahmed represented the Pakistan team in 41 Test matches. He made his international debut in 1958 against the West Indies.

Saeed Ahmed scored 2991 runs in Test cricket while also taking 22 wickets.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed grief over the death of former captain Saeed Ahmed.

PCB said in a statement that it condoles the death of late Saeed Ahmed to his family and loved ones.

According to the Cricket Board, Saeed Ahmed represented the Pakistan Cricket Team for 15 years from 1958 to 1973.
