Karachi: A gang was caught selling fake tickets for the match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium.
According to Express News, during the match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium on Monday, an Afghan citizen was caught selling fake tickets and 37 fake tickets were recovered from him.
The PCB security personnel also caught seven persons holding fake tickets. The buyers of the fake tickets on questioning identified the seller who turned out to be an Afghan national and gave his name as Ali.
PCB officials said that action will be taken against the seller of fake tickets as per the law, it should be noted that during the match between Quetta Gladiator and Lahore Qalandars on Sunday, the seller of fake ticket was also caught. .
Meanwhile, the officials of the ticket selling agency in the stadium said that the fake ticket holder cannot enter the enclosures, the fake ticket is caught during the scan at the time of entry.
On the other hand, the National Bank Stadium officials say that any illegal activity will be suppressed, while security has been tightened in the stadium after two consecutive days of selling fake tickets.
