Former Indian cricketer and television personality Navjot Singh Sidhu called Virat Kohli a better batsman than Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar and Sir Vivian Richards.
During a recent interview, Sidhu said that Virat Kohli is the best cricketer India has ever produced.
When asked about Virat Kohli’s batting order in Royal Challengers Bangalore and India’s national team, Navjot Singh Sidhu said that it all depends on the team’s demand.
He added that Kohli is the best batsman in world cricket, but if the team is not winning, especially if you have not lifted a single trophy, that is a stain you want to erase.
Continuing his point, the former Indian cricketer said that this is not in any way detrimental to Kohli as he has given his best performances which you can see.
He said that I consider him the best batsman in the history of Indian cricket, because he embraced all the three formats.
